RETREATS
“I believe that you have
a powerful approach and a true commitment to results that will
continue to bring you success.”
– Chell Smith, Chief Executive Officer, Americas, Capgemini
Taking corporate
leaders and individuals on one of the most important journeys
of their lives
Retreats are meant to take people away from the
distractions and obligations of their everyday lives and jobs,
to provide a haven conducive to inspiration and introspection,
and to give them what they need to recharge, refocus and redirect
themselves.
While many see retreats as an end, at J.W. Webb
we see them as the beginning. And with Mark Womack as our retreat
leader, the beginning is a truly significant turning point.
Driven to
give people what they came for
Whether it’s a two-day retreat or a Monday-to-Friday
seclusion, Mark Womack never slows down.
Whether he’s conducting a segment according to
careful planning or executing a spontaneous about-face to capture
a critical moment in the retreat’s progress, he never misses
an opportunity to advance toward the overarching goal of the
retreat.
Our retreats have a purposeful rhythm. They swing
between intense introspection and shared enjoyment, between
relentless exploration and relaxed interaction, between deeper
emotional content and lighter moments. Knowing how much of one
is required to balance the other is one of our special skills.
We draw upon a variety of techniques to reach people
emotionally, as well as rationally. He may include multimedia
theatrics, guest presenters, breakout sessions and more to achieve
the results we’re looking for.
We focus every minute of the retreat on the reason
people are there. And we give them what they came for.
Getting
people on course
Those who come in search of a vision for their
company, leave with that. They take, too, a framework to follow
for long-term success and just as importantly, the courage to
continue the course. Those who come seeking insights to living
more satisfying lives, leave not just with new awareness, but
also with confidence – the strength and purpose to keep going.
“Mark’s ability to truly make a difference
in people – professionally and personally – is unique and powerful.”
