Mark W. Womack has dedicated his professional life to unleashing the potential of leaders and organizations. Mark began his professional journey by leading a succession of U.S. Navy units to unprecedented results. Along the way, he was honored with several of the Navy's highest accolades. While serving full-time in the Navy and raising a young family, he earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees within a five year period (both summa cum laude), in Education and Organization Development respectively.
Mark then left the Navy to pursue his dream of joining the top tier of the management consulting industry. Within three years he became a leader of large-scale business transformations of Fortune 500 client companies, delivering sustainable benefits of as much as $100M per engagement. Mark specialized in guiding top executive leaders to develop and implement a vision and strategic framework for unprecedented success, while also helping them to become stronger leaders. In 2001, Mark became Executive Vice President – Head of Consulting Operations, Americas for a global management consulting firm. He then led that organization to record-high revenue and profit.
Mark's next major step was to pursue his dream of establishing his own boutique executive leadership consultancy. He did so by launching J.W. Webb in late 2003. J.W. Webb has now thrived for over 5 years, serving elite organizations and their client leaders in a wide range of industries.
